The raw co-ordinates are: S35 05.270 E147 27.550

The camp is of a reasonable size with relatively flat ground.  It has numerous trees and a number of grassed areas.

It has camping space for 150 people and bunk house accommodation for 60.

Ablution facilities include male and female showers that are fed through a two stage pump pit before being sent through a sprinkler farm system.

The kitchen is a commercial style and has been successfully used by the Shire to cater for two Border Wars and can quite easily cater for 150 to 180 people.  There are two halls that are available for use as feasting halls and have trestle tables and seating to suit 150 people.

The surrounding fields are irrigated by reclaimed water and as such taps other than kitchen and ablutions are to be treated as non potable water.  There are signs to this effect around the site.

Getting there:

Wagga Wagga is approximately five hours drive from both Sydney and Melbourne.  It has a regional airport and is also serviced by train and bus services.  Pick up from airport, train and bus terminals can be arranged.

Crisis Information:

Camp Kurrajong is equipped with an emergency telephone, there are both public and private hospitals within fifteen minutes and there also are first aid kits and de-fibrillation machines on site.  Fire alarms and fire fighting equipment are positioned as per occupational health and safety requirements. Telstra 3G coverage is excellent for phones, moderate for data.
